Liverpool FC - Pre-season (Part 2)

I’m not sure a quote has ever been so over analysed.

A lot of clickbait articles popping up based on nothing. The season starts in 10 days, the intensity of the training sessions is going to diminish until then.

The suggestion that we need different players in order to get a complete performance is ridiculous. If anything, I think that the fact that we are struggling right now is a good sign.

We aren’t replacing Kerkez with Lewis hall.
Regarding a passer in midfield that isn’t the issue more a nice to have, the issue is the transition side defensively in midfield

At the stadium
I saw this tall guy in flourescent orange-pink trousers and a beige top. I am not sure if he is a footballer or a basketball player checking out Anfield.

Does anyone who was watching the match recognise him

My eyesight couldn’t zoom in that far :see_no_evil_monkey:. He wasn’t walking with a stick

Sounds like a player like Mascherano to me, someone to be there to stop the counter attack going right through the center of the team for the times we lose the ball… then again that might just be my preference for someone better at that then anyone we have currently speaking!

I´d definitely take Mascherano, for sure. What a player he was. Winning the ball back is always going to be useful so I think you are right it would be great to have.

I would add that, having won the ball back, you then need your midfield to do something with it, and we´re equally weak in that area too I´d say. I think we need a Masch and an Alonso really if we want to win things consistently.

I think that’s who i saw. The trousers look familiar . I forgot to bring my sporting binoculars.

No. Munoz was only ever in the youth system there and left before Araujo joined (the reserves).
