Tiny provincial club being Man Citied after being bought by Indonesian Tobacco billionaires in 2019. It’s like Welcome to Wrexham, but without the TV money and with richer investors so they’ve gone from non-league football to Serie A in the space of about 6 years.

Yeah they are a decent side. Last season was only their second year back in Serie A and they finished 4th qualifying to this year’s CL. But they have come from literal bankrupcy and non-league football backed by a tobacco fortune so unless someone was specifically following Serie A last season its reasonable they wouldnt know who they are

He was hottly tipped to take over from Maresca but seemingly feels Como is a great place for him to learn the job. He has a lot of room to stretch his wings and really figure out what he thinks good management consists of there that he realized he wouldnt have at Chelsea so said he wasnt interested. But he’ll get the opportunity to change his mind, probably at 18 month intervals for the rest of his career
