Origi looking lean and hungry + went back to the hairstyle from the last time he showed promise (apart from the cult goals later on).
Liverpool have confirmed they will conclude pre-season with a friendly double-header against Athletic Bilbao and Osasuna at Anfield – with a 75 percent capacity crowd.
Almost too lean… And hungry…
Did he go on some new diet? Seriously speaking though I hope he still has enough weight for holding off defenders. He was falling over too much for my liking last season.
Ben Davies???
Thanks @Livvy I didn’t know the correlation!
Better than any new signing.
Joel pushed Mina like a minnow.
We’ve done that before, beat Barca and then lost to Berlin the day after.
It’s not the frequency of the games. Echo first said it will be Valencia and Osasuna, only to correct themselves in an hour. Rather careless.
Saw news that Awonyi and Grujic had left the squad to seal moves to union Berlin and Porto respectively. For 6.5 and 10.5mil. If true, we have done well on these 2 again and all the best to them!
With Wijnaldum & Grujic gone and Fabinho & Henderson not training yet, it will be interesting to see who plays the deepest role in midfield.
In preseason?
Surely a youngster or 2 even if Fab and Hendo were there.
Leighton Clarkson or Milner probably. In a pre-season friendly it doesn’t matter so much so you could end up with Ben Woodburn there even.
Diogo back tomorrow
I guess Robertson will join next week.
It’s 4 weeks to the day since Scotland/Robbo last played a fixture, their last Euro’s group stage game.
Robbo didn’t get a break all last season, so guess he’s been given as long a break as possible to come back ready and raring to go. Would be surprised if he’s not back before this week is out, but maybe he’s getting 5 weeks.
There go my hopes of seeing Awoniyi in a pre-season match…
Spoilt by Klopp.
