Having seen various possible back up options today I’d say we still need to sign a centre back. 2-1 (although it was Doak who had the man rather than a defender). Robbo has generally looked ok but a bit slow on a couple of occasions.

Look at the lineup, most of them are tiny 
Kerkez, Robbo, Endo and Frimpong as a back 4 is more driving over pot holes on the dock road than an alpine pass in terms of man mountains.

I think the question is can he be an option rather than should we not sign someone else. It’s obvious we need to.

Interesting to note that this is usually 1-0 and we have looked laboured the lads have done well even in the context of the game.
Saying nothing much but I do think we’ve had a lot of rest this summer and I think that bodes well physically we are in good shape.

Well that’s that - decent run out, 3-1 win and didn’t appear to pick up any injuries. Next up heading off to the far east for some cool weather training. Next game is against Milan so at least we know there will be AC in the stadium
