If we can play on pitches like this, surely we wouldn’t have any issue on a cold rainy and windy Monday night at the Britannia.

We are so tentative on this pitch just not used to it and look scared of potential injuries
I’m finding it hard as well. You can see the ball isn’t running as it should.
Players step off and you see soil/sods fly off the surface
I do have my doubts over Szobo as a double pivot, but this is alright. Of course there could be a few obvious changes like Ali, Mac, perhaps Isak (though if he arrives a bit later, then Ekitike might have the advantage before Alex finds his feet).

No idea what you expect, they’ve been training for days in double sessions in a grueling heat and very high humidity… it’s clear that their legs are heavy etc.
