This is not normal to have so many talented kids come through our academy experiencing so many severe stress overload type issues. If we’re not looking at this seriously we should be.

I thought something along the lines of growth spurts but if you’re saying that it could be something training/workload related, then it is worrying. I think this is fourth such injury that our young players suffered over the last year.

Valencia currently bottom of the league.

Not a great situation for Mama.

Well, he’s getting plenty of chances to practice on his goalkeeping then.

Meanwhile, Gordon has only seen 101 minutes for Norwich, all off the bench.

Not really the type of practice I’d want him to have before potentially arriving next season.

Even though I don’t think any decision is 100% made yet over what will happen next summer and with which goalkeeper we’ll enter the 25/26 season.

Watched that game yesterday.

Was a bit crazy, Boro missed a pen and I thought oh they will get back now and they did.

Sort of why I missed out first 20.

Doak injured, Gordon getting just a handful of minutes. Meanwhile, RB Salzburg are struggling.

Worrying for those two, the former because I hope they don’t break him physically, the latter because he’s barely seen the pitch at all through the entire loan spell so far.

Going out on loan to a Championship club expecting a playoff position on the back of two years out injured was always going to be a slow burn.

Unrelated, but feels like Lijnders will be on sack watch soon…

Sounds like Doak tore Gvardiol a new one

Yeah, read that one as I couldn’t watch the match or catch up with the highlights.

The best part was when it was mentioned that Gvardiol couldn’t remember what day of week it was
