Liverpool Loan Watch

Just watching the highlights he roasted him several times

That’s probably a stretch. Doak made Gvardiol work far harder than he wanted to in the first half, really more playing defensively than attacking. Then when the red left Croatia without defensive support made life very, very difficult for him. But a great performance, and one that makes me think he really has a future wearing the shirt.

Here’s the goal. Bit of luck, but positive play none the less

His footwork looked like a skinny Salah :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

You can get one of those at Mo’s coffee bar.

Koumas came on as a late sub as Wales drew 0-0 with Turkey, getting all of 5 minutes.

Ben Doak really coming into his own for Middlesbrough now. 1 goal and 5 assists in the Championship, and he’s just ripping players apart regularly.

At this rate I don’t think he will need a second loan spell. May just be integrated next season as part of the first team squad, like Elliott was after dominating the Championship.

Does feel like a similar trajectory.

Koumas has scored what is apparently his fourth goal for Stoke this season. He scored it from the right wing but I thought he was playing off the left. Has anyone from these boards actually seen him play, do you think that he can make it at Liverpool one day?

Never heard of him.

Gordon seems to have fallen off the radar, he’s barely been involved at Norwich?

Also, is Ramsay injured? He hasn’t played for a while. If he is, that would make what, 3 left-backs and 2 right-backs on our books who would nominally be playing senior games injured.

I meant “seen him play at Stoke”, you dirty, dirty man! :stuck_out_tongue:

Terrible video, but I haven’t seen this anywhere else. Koumas’ goal for Stoke yesterday. I’m still not sure how he kicked the ball to get it in though.

Doesn’t sound very positive.
