Two very talented players. Hard to judge how effective a midfield would be with those two in it without seeing them in games with real competitive intensity. Both need a injury free season. promise is there.
It feels like his whole career has been - about to really fulfil potential and then BANG injured. Coping with that when his career is over in X years will be hard. Hope this is just a slight twinge.

Why we even playing him? He’s been a non factor for 3 of the 5 seasons he’s been here (for various reasons)…it’s quite clear his future lies elsewhere so we should be helping him look for a new club to start over.
It’s like the time we kept Lallana and Clyne for 2-3 years longer than we needed to despite them having no future…when it’s time to move them on, move them on.

Seems Klopp thinks he is here for the season. I would have moved him on but looks like he will run his contract out, suppose they have to give him game time so. My only question is why Nat Phillips is getting game time over SVB. Now I say that it is SVB playing now over Nat. Happy to see that though
