That explains why it isn’t at Wembley, not why it’s at the 20th largest stadium in England.
Why not Villa Park or better yet, the Principality Stadium?

Because the FA are fucking idiots. Of all the bids, King Power is the smallest stadium and the FA in response to the number of empty seats in the FA cup final decided a smaller stadium per se was the factor that would prevent that.
The smallest stadium and the most difficult to get to by public transport from Liverpool and Manchester (requires a minimum of 1 train transfer at Birmingham or Crewe - sometimes two with a change at Stafford or Nuneaton) then when you get to Leicester it’s a good 1.5 mile or so walk, most of it uphill and there is only really one way to walk it which means both sets of supporters have to go the same way which is through the park/University campus.
It’s genuinely one of the worst possible places they could have picked and I say that as someone who loved my two years in Leicester as a student so it’s no slight on the city, just the location.
Might be better to hold it in Singapore
most of it uphill
Most of its downhill when you leave.
Plus one of the teams is Man City, so no chance they will sell their allocation.
I mean how many tickets can 2 fans afford to buy?
I don’t think the walk is an issue as most grounds are no longer that close. The fact it’s effectively on a branch line is
Nah, he’s just checking out Matip
Jesus the intensity is ramping up, I’m sweating just looking at the lads.
Pittaluga looks good.
The youngsters don’t look out of place at all.
A lot of players are missing from the training video.
My god, the speed with which they restart play after the last one ends is terrifying. It never stops.
I heard the shouts of praise for an Issac (Isak?) and Stefan. Anyone know who that is.
Stefan would be Bajcetic, I think.
Edit: And Isaac Mabaya, I would think.
That answers the question but gives me no further practical information. Must go an study up on the Youngster’s thread
Lol. Mabaya looked good at RB in the United friendly, going forward at least, I don’t recall seeing much of Bajcetic as I missed the second half of the Palace game, but think he’s a CB?
Bajcetic has really good technique from the bits and pieces I’ve seen of him. Was used in midfield now.
Ali and Kelleher still injured
Can not remember a top-class goalkeeper that picks up injuries as often as Becker does.
Just my opinion but isn’t it better to have a world class keeper who gets injured at odd but right time (say start of the season when the rest of the squad can compensate), and for a fairly short period? Than having an unreliable one available for the whole season?
Or one who can score superb last minute headers to get us into the CL😉
