I hope he hasn’t been affected. He really looks like a confidence player and wears his emotions on his face. We were just starting to see the best of him too before he had to go off, and play in a team that performed like utter toons.

No it’s about helping improve his mental state, Jota is going also. Recovery from long term injuries is probably the hardest thing a player has to do in his career, and many of them say how dark a time it can be. The change in scenary will do wonders.

Can’t wait to see the season resume. Only six days to go until the Lyon game now. A couple of friendlies to get into our stride, and then we’ll hopefully have a better start to that second part of the season, fingers crossed!
