Sandcastle will surely make that.
As for ManU, if they drop points against Wolves then I’ll start to get hopeful.

If Brighton beat Everton today then Newcastle vs Brighton becomes a great game.

And that’s even taking into account about the five minutes Trent spends on a throw in.

Not surprised on Brentford their throws were taking the piss. You don’t set up to throw short for about a minute and then suddenly change.

And Newcastle are well known for time wasting, it even cost them points against us

Everton’s is entirely Pickford

Utd’s form is giving me hope, 3 wins from their next 4 games looks like a tough ask for them.

The day Anfield will say goodbye to Bobby, Milly, Ox and Naby lad :sob:

Most of Newcastle’s delay came in one game against us

I’ll miss you, I’ll miss you, goodbye, fuck off.

Positives of the season

  • Bajcetic
  • Jones
  • Alisson (player of the season)
  • Gakpo
  • Trent in his new role
  • Salah still got it
  • Diaz and Jota - sky is the limit if they stay healthy

Negatives

  • Klopp (recruitment since the end of last season, tactics, selection). C+ season at best for his standards.
  • Thiago
  • Gomez
  • Elliott (might be a world class talent but not in CM)

Jury’s out

  • VvD
  • Henderson
  • Nunez
  • Ibou (although he made a huge step forward recently)
  • Matip
  • Fabinho
  • Robbo
  • Carvalho (needs games)

I’d agree with most of that, would move Hendo into negative, really can’t make a case for him having anything other than a poor season and Nunez into the positive, not always come off for him but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching him.

Still hopeful for Darwin. Enjoyed watching him until Cody came in. The number of games he already missed is a bit of a concern.

Recent run of games saved Hendo for me. Like Fabinho he looks much better since Harvey and Thiago don’t start games anymore.

Ideally our transfer window will be so good that only one of Fab, Hendo and Thiago will start each game.

Positive - Anfield Rd Stand coming along nicely all season

Salah has been slow, frustrating and poor in comparison to what we had come to expect. If that’s not a negative -------- I don’t know what is.

Still I don’t know what Klopp and his staff were thinking pre season. No tactic, static forwards and all our players slower than an Alladyce bus. We are lucky to be where we are!

Just backed us to win the league next season at 9-1.

This has been a really shite season… not only have we surprisingly disappeared from the top four, but who took profit from it? The Saudis and the red mancs…

Added to that, Abu Dhabi hold their sixth league title in seven years, and are big favourites to win their first CL trophy…

Urghh, that’s really one to forget…

I hope next season will be better but it is looking likely that LFC might not get the money to sign 3 quality midfielders this season due to lack of future revenue.
