Usually when people start bashing Jones in a post match thread I find it tiresome, but I can see where they’re coming. He’s a limited player but he does his job (which isn’t meant to be a big one anyway) and puts a shift in so I don’t particularly agree with the complaining, but I can see why people are complaining especially given that anything he does is, in my mind unfairly, compared to Harvey. Today I find it incredulous. The kid hasn’t even played and people are complaining because…they haven’t seen him getting wankered with the team? If only we’d won a cup today, maybe that’d stop people complaining. Oh, wait.
Wonder what you’ll all be saying about Gomez when you realise he aint been seen getting wankered/using social media today.
If your response to a cup win is to whinge about a youngster not being caught on camera getting on the lash you’re doing something wrong.

Glad Taki got his moment with the cup. Good on Tsimi for passing it to him and Hendo/VVD/Fab for geeing up the crowd. Played a massive role throughout the tournement and earned his celebration.

Yeah no sign of Gomez. Curtis. Karius I don’t think. Seen on social media the academy lads were in the fan section apart from Rhys and Kaide. Conor Bradley and the likes seemed to be with the u23s in the stadium while the two lads got more of a first team experience. Oxlade must be leaving in the summer just from looking at him lifting the trophy at his turn looked uninterested. Probably annoyed not to have kicked a ball. Did Harvey even warm up with the lads at the start as he wasn’t in the squad. Quite a drastic turn around for the youngster.

During a post match interview, Hendo mentioned that maybe a couple of the lads will have a glass of wine and that would be it. Most of the boys won’t be drinking. So, the boys will be high on the victory but not from anything alcoholic.

Rewatching the shootout and remembering a few things such as one of the Chelsea players waving an imaginary card within 3 minutes after a foul by Fabinho they really come across as such a shitty bunch of snide fuckers.
Kepa with his wankfest distractions and the finger to the fans by two of the players. Bunch of cnuts you’d think they’d show some humility with the current situation but no.
