There is a lot of this low level shithousery that the ref has let them get away with. They took about 15mins out of the half, with fake injuries and dawdling. The kicked the ball away twice on free kicks, and I counted three imaginary yellows waved at the ref.
Honestly a bit impressed by Fulham. They smelled weakness and they had the biggest chance. We are of course better over all, but arguably fulham deserve their lead. We haven’t been really “on.” Need to start the second half very differently.
Game very much so-so. But I really want us to get an early title, so dispatching Fulham would be nice.
He needs to play regular football. Coming in for the odd game isnt helping him or us.
He’ll get a good move in the summer.

I don’t think he has been this season.Maybe feeling he’s never gonna get that N0.1 jersey with us.
He is perfectly good enough as a second keeper. Just because Alisson is the best in the world, that doesn’t mean it’s fair to hold all keepers to that standard.

hmm. I’m not entirely surprised we’re lacking creativity: no Trent, no Szobo, no Mo. Too much running into nowhere from Luis and Harvey for my liking.
I’d bring on Nunez on the left and switch Diaz to the right, which worked well v Arsenal. Bit more urgency from the midfield needed, too.

Started brightly, and it was actually looking good up until a couple of minutes before conceding.
Since the goal we lost it completely, and Fulham started believing it.
We need a good 2nd half to turn it around, and hopefully Nunez can be a game changer.
Hope we don’t have to go to Fulham needing a win there. And definitely not keen to lose at Anfield tonight.

Agree. And really, while I repeat myself, the goal was really van Dijk’s fault, not his. People are too harsh on Kelleher. You won’t get a second keeper as good as Allison, logically enough. Because then he would play for a different top club and start every game, just like Allison does for us…

As usual…i expect us to be considerably better 2nd half, after Klopp has his say.
Hopefully we come out firing and get the early equaliser before going through the gears and taking control of the tie.
