The penalty was the just reward for a very good first half, and the perfect chance to take the lead on aggregate, but let’s face it: Salah doesn’t know anymore how to score. I wrote yesterday how Macca had fallen off a cliff this season, but Salah is even worse. He isn’t the same player anymore, what has happened there?
Otherwise, a really good performance from the lads, but they can’t award themselves with goals when they deserve it.
Another question: can they maintain that level of intensity over hundred minutes, or will they falter as time goes on? Big question-mark here. They better score early in the second half. Hopefully Galatasaray will remain throughout as teethless as during the first half, fingers crossed.

It was the best half of football by us for a long time. In particular because of how able we were to pick up the intensity over and over again with how stop start Gala made the game.
