Liverpool v Galatasary 18/03 , 20:00 GMT , CL Last 16 , 2nd leg

Two days away from a possible berth in the last eight of the CL and does anyone really give a fuck after that latest embarrassment yesterday ? Even if we go through we ain’t beating Paris. The very last thing I’d hope for is another basketball game finale after another 80 minutes of unadulterated shite , with us coming out eventually victorious (maybe on pens or a last gasp winner) and players pumping their chests and kissing the badge. They’ve let us down so badly this season that nothing they do now will atone. I just want it all to be over and for the manager to be gone.

That referee is a bad dickhead who has fucked us over a couple of times. Hopefully he’s just a homer and we’ll get the benefit of it.
I thought we’d beat these comfortably because they’re shit but I thought that yesterday too.
Still think we’ll go through but not arsed if we don’t. That’s what Slotball has done to me.

Seemingly he annoyed Barca and Bayern on a couple of occasions. I did find this on his Wikipedia page:

On 1 June 2023, it was reported that three days earlier Marciniak spoke at an entrepreneur conference co-organised by Sławomir Mentzen, a right-wing libertarian politician and leader of the Confederation Liberty and Independence in Poland, who has in the past been accused of anti-semitic and anti-LGBT statements.

I won’t watch it. Sad I know, but we have definitely lost our ways, and life is too short to lose time watching an underperforming, unmotivated squad.

We don’t need any help with that, we’re quite capable of fucking ourselves over.
Fortunately for me, I’ll miss the game, because I’ll be flying back to Liverpool and I won’t know the score until I land. Unless the pilot decides to ruin the flight for me of course.

We need to win by two goals. Under Klopp, I would have said ‘bring it on’ full of optimism, but now, perhaps with a lot of luck, a penalty that isn’t really a penalty – miracles do happen.

In any case, I’m not looking forward to it, just as I haven’t looked forward to our matches for quite some time now; it’s become a chore.

The sooner this season is over, meaning the lesser games we have to endure, the better.

We the masters of our own downfall, he will barely have to make an effort.

If we do scrape through into the quarters with the predictably frustrating performance not worthy of progressing further …

Can we then cut the slack off the teams back and just laugh our socks off if Cheaty, Chelski and Arses are all eliminated the night before we play our game.

Come Wednesday evening we could be the only English team left in the competition - and we are really shit :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

The most important match of the season for Slot.
Does anyone else have any belief in him any more?

Gakkers ?

Cmon lads and lasses it’s a 2nd leg Euro game at Anfield. Be more positive.

By my definition that means a big atmosphere and performance.

I’m up early watching with my son and it’s important time together. That won’t last forever.

You won’t get me missing it by having a hissy over the recent shite and a dodge manager.

3-0 there you have it.

I know that…………

Let’s not fall into the trap of letting this game go. It’s the second leg of the tie. We’re losing one nil. Let’s go and win this.

Oh dear, I think we have all lost faith.

It’s possible that this could be the last European night at Anfield for a while. Then again, it’s still theoretically possible that we win the thing!

COYR.

I think I’ll watch the game this time. It’s a very important match for the future of this club. The lads will be motivated, and so will the Anfield crowd.

This game could have the dullest atmosphere ever if we start shockingly no away fans yo make even a little noise.
