Haven’t seen any action, listening to airwaves on radio Merseyside. But sub him now, bring Jones on and play it 4-3-2-1 for the next half hour with Dom and Wirtz behind Hugo. Do not be tempted to bring Gakpo or anyone else on, keep the shape and be patient for the next goal

Did Gala even come to play football? Credit to our boys for enduring their shithousery. Hope we maintain the energy level and have a second half like what Barca had against Newcastle in the earlier match.

Errrrr…stop the step overs and I’d say yes…
Intensity and effort are there. What’s lacking is quality on the ball. Not even close to our best, especially at finishing.
And you do have to wonder for how long we are able to sustain this physically.

There’s definitely a lack of ease, and understandably, self-confidence is also lacking. Sometimes all it takes is perhaps a hug and a joke; otherwise, everything feels far too strained. But it’s been like this for months. But we certainly can’t accuse them of lacking effort.

Missed the first 30 minutes so in what I have seen we’ve looked good but not great. Or at least not as good as the commentary team were saying we were. Poor penalty by Mo. He really isn’t reliable anymore.
