All expected, though I didn’t think Millie would start. I had my doubts over Taki, but it’s not a surprise. Hope this means Jota starts on the right.

I don’t like a midfield with Henderson and Milner, Milner should not start anyway, just the last 20 minutes if necessary.

Not my favourite either but with both Trent and Andy playing and at Anfield against the Arse they will probably find us enough control in midfield for the full backs to bomb on.

I think the intention is to simply win the game, unless there’s a really dramatic result, I would still expect a serious team in the second leg. Finishing Arsenal off isn’t easy, no matter how many times it happened. It’s the only natural approach for an important game like this against an important opponent.

true, that midfield combo has not worked for years and is even worse now as BOTH players have slowed down and are not playing well. but thats not on them, thats on management and not signing players when needed
