U21s down 1-0 at half time. Joe Belmont scored for Brighton, he left Liverpool to sign for them two years ago.

I was watching “Inside Training: Liverpool U21s” earlier and noticed Jayden Danns was still with the squad.
Is he not meant to be at Sunderland on loan?
I do remember he was recovering from an injury and having treatment with us but surely that loan now is quite redundant with only 6 games left for Sunderland (I think…)!
Yeah he’s back training with us because he had an aggravation of the injury. They’re hoping he can get a few games before the end of the season but yes it looks like a waste at this point unfortunately.

Who are the youth RB these days? Any promise?
No one right now, Mabaya used to be a good prospect but just hasn’t played football the last two years. Josh Davidson is the other RB at U21 level but he’s not first team standard. Emmanuel Airoboma has played RB for the U18s but he’s not good enough. Price Kobe Cisse has played there a few times also but he’s just coming through from the U16s.

signed a professional contract that plays behind Rio, that I thought looked promising?
Saying that the snippets of games I have seen we haven’t looked too clever defensively.
Looks like Jaros will be walking away on a free at the end of the season.
Jaros signed a long term deal in January 2024 before his loan move to Sturm Graz!

By the way, what are we doing in the Youth Team thread, Jaros will be 24 this summer.
No official date but I’m sure I’ve seen somewhere that it’s not up this summer.

You trust a site that claims to have information about private contracts?
What Google did you use? All the information I searched showed that he signed a 5-year deal with an additional option, basically 5+1 years. His contract is up until 2029.
