Some highlights up on the offal from the 11v11 training game they had at the academy this week, mix of kids and pros.
Woodburn scored a hattrick up against Davies and Phillips. I’m not sure if that’s more worrying than encouraging.
Kaide Gordon looked very good in those highlights too, takes the ball on the turn brilliantly. Only seen flashes of him since he signed from Derby but he looks a real player.

We have to be one of the worse clubs for academy content. Very poor from the club. Derby post all games and all highlights. We get nothing, sure not like there’s a big market for academy games where there’s money to be made. I’d say about 50 people watch these games

U23s playing against Brighton - the back four are all left footed which is interesting. Beck at RB, Savage and Boyes at CB and Gallacher at LB.
