Youā€™d think a multi billions pound industry would be able to sort out a highlights package within a few days but alas no.

Itā€™s not always a bad thing, overexposing teenagers is not generally a good move but the Youth Cup even today holds a special place in peopleā€™s minds and the games should be televised.

Yeah he is probably not the same calibre of prospect as the likes of Quansah or Koumetio but heā€™s been good this season (I didnā€™t watch todayā€™s game).

Iā€™d still agree with Sweeting though that Quansah is the better player. Very tall, quick and good on the ball. Played 3 or 4 really good long passes in todayā€™s game.

Koumetio is getting better but still switches off too often. He could be very good if he learns to do the basics well but thatā€™s a big if.

Agreed on that. Think Quansah is coming up quietly to be one of the best centre backs in the academy even though the hype is with Billy. Brilliant player Billy is but he switches off far too often.

U23s playing today against Spurs

Also glad to see Ben Woodburn training with the senior team, hopefully can get himself back to what he was previously rated to be. Think he has a year or two left on his contract.

He has been left out of the u23s team today so he could make the bench of JĆ¼rgens team. Exact same with Clarkson, has been left out of the 23s. Both vital for the team so itā€™s significant they have been left out.

What age group is Billy. Thought he was moved up to u23s full time. Seems to be dropped down to u18s while Savage and Boyes are playing u23s now.

Billy was U18 at the start of the season and therefor is an U18 player. Probably not the oldest in the team. No overage players allowed in the Youth Cup.
