3-1 Liverpool - Musialowski
Norris wins it in midfield and plays a good pass through the Chelsea defence, Musialowski is suddenly full of confidence and makes a great run. Makes no mistake when 1v1.

That’s what make Musialowski potentially a very good player if he irons out his flaws; he’s equally good going left or right.
Would like to see him make more of those runs in behind.
3-2 Chelsea pull one back - Nunn
What a header by Nunn, he outjumps Tony Gallacher (who has replaced Bradley) and scores from what looked a decent way out. Question marks over both Gallacher and Pitaluga there.
Don’t understand what the commentators were on about mentioning how young and experienced their team were compared to Liverpool’s. Swear the keeper has first team football, Baker who is about 30, that lad just back from injury who has a few years of senior football under his belt and then an international in centre back.
3-3
3-3 Chelsea level - Haigh
Mistake by Tom Clayton, he miskicks his clearance and it allows substitute Joe Haigh to run in on goal and slot it beneath Marcelo Pitaluga. Obviously not a good look for Clayton but once again - and maybe I’m too harsh - but Pitaluga made it too easy.
Woltman goes close, gathering a clearance he cuts inside then back out and has his shot saved. Took too long for me.
Balagizi off, Dixon-Bonner on.
The game turned on the substitution of Bradley
Chelsea, jammy bastards
Corness should have kicked it out rather than clearing it long.
4-3 Chelsea - Chelsea win it
Lewis Hall nods into an empty goal. Jack Bearne was down injured but Chelsea played on and the left wing back - who would have been tracked by Bearne - overlaps to meet a deep cross.
Been a bit of a nightmare for Tony Gallacher since he came on to be honest, beaten in the air twice for two goals.
Yep that substitution seemed to change the course of the game
Bradley, Beck and Morton the best players. Special mention to for Musialowski for two good goals. It’s clear to see why the first 3 have been playing with the firsts (pre-season for Beck) ahead of the rest.
An obvious weakness opened up when Bradley went off, Gallagher and Clayton were very poor on that right hand side.
Thought Billy was very good also. Plays simialr to Virg at times on the ball. Cut the mistakes out and we have a prospect.
Has Norris usually played LB for our youth sides, or am I likely confusing him for someone else?
No you’re right he’s normally a LB.
