Yeah heard that aswell. Think he even have an interview mentioning it aswell. Think it suits young centre backs that lack that physicality. Seeing he broke his nose on debut showed he had to toughen up and he obviously did he was a success. He learned to play with men at that level and now at Championship level he can showcase his footballing skill a little more while showing off his new found strength and mentality.

Surprised he can’t get better than that.

My thoughts. He is good enough for play-off chasing club.

He was apparently choosing between Millwall and Preston - given that he is from London I’m not surprised he chose Millwall.

It’s his last year in contract, right?
Fair enough. His loans have taken him all over the place, if he is happy going to Millwall then I’m happy for him.

Is it not possible for lower league clubs to loan PL players anymore? Wasn’t there some kind of ‚emergency loans’ in the past?
I think there are a few loopholes but generally speaking the business has been done now.

Fucking hell, the state of these people.

It’s not “those” people. It’s people in general.

So, these are vdBerg’s positions for Preston (they play 3 at the back) so far this season…
We have ourselves another backup for Trent next season. Meunier style, tall but goes down the wing.
