Just when I thought I can’t dislike this guy anymore… I realise there must be hundreds of picture like this ready to keep moving the dial that little bit more each time…!

He’s not pretty if he wasn’t a City player I’d have a bit of sympathy and he doesn’t have black hair so he can’t hide behind a beard like some of us did :joy:

His hair looks so fine and wispy… He would only have to run down the stairs after a shower to blow dry it fully :0)

I actually laugh quite a lot to Goldstein and Bent…it’s pick-up time when I have to go and get the kids.

Bent is awesome at winding him up about Utd being shite.

We need a lot of transfers. Right back, left back, two strikers, central midfielder defensive midfielder and an attacking midfielder… it’s going to be one hell of a January transfer window

It’s the complete detachment from any normal reality that makes the schadenfreude so befriedigend.

they call it ‘tanking’ in Oz, somethings not quite right…maybe has something to do with the court case…but its hard to see how they lose five on the trot after winning 9 million games out of the last 9 million and 2 games played…

maybe im over thinking it…but everything is fake about that club, so these results seem…not quite above board

This result is especially odd, I don’t remember them being beaten so badly and they had their chances but were they weren’t massively guilt edge.

It’s not just a Rodri problem, it’s a Haland and Rodri problem. Rodri was able to mask the off ball/defensive inabilities of the big goon up top. They don’t have a player who can do that now and what it does is leave the spine severely open. He can’t pull the goon because no one else is scoring, but he can’t just replace Rodri because no one can do what he was asked to do. I think Pep realizes that and they’re a bit stuck. He has to keep with the system. Doesn’t have a choice. They’ll start scoring at some point (not next weekend) but they won’t stop conceding. The balance is all off.

Two strikers! Weren’t we just hearing about how Haaland is the bestest everest?

Yep, if this was North American sport you’d be wondering who they want to draft…

Is there a City equivalent to Goldbridge I can laugh my arse off at?

I think you probably need real fans for that…

I think so. They didnt look great last season but pulled out results in a lot of games regardless. Halaand was a big part of that, but so was Alvarez coming in and offering them something different. Now their strategy is Halaand or bust, and it only takes a few games of him not finding his radar to all of a sudden look like they hit a bad run of form

Thought I heard on the commentary today city’s other forwards/wingers have 0 league goals. I haven’t fact checked that but it feels right. I hated Alvarez last year because I felt he was always going to create a chance: they don’t have that this year
