Manchester City* - 130 charges (and counting...) (Part 2)

Way to go Pep you had a go at Anfield and Brighton fans in the same sentence.

Of course Pep lost some games here and there before this season but the thing with physically hurting himself after Feyenoord and not being able to ignore the chants today shows that he never learned to deal with failure. Immature / insecure cunt.

He was laughing, the Kop were laughing. Is all fine. Pep is a weirdo for lots of reasons, but not this.

When you give some, you also have to receive some. Was a good laugh, from both sides actually.

I hate that club almost as much as I hate the Tory party. Almost.

Keane could break Richards in half.

I wish he would.

I’m surprised he was laughing, he is usually sulky when they lose. After 7 games he must have consoled himself.

That was my sense during the game. But those post-match quotes are extra weird. How can our fans sack him, and wtf has it got to do with Brighton?

Oof… the absolute perfect reply. And you just know this would tear Pep to shreds too if he saw it.

Only this “six” is legitimate.

Kop should put it on a banner. No words required

Yeah agree, absolutely nothing in this. Banter coming from the stands, he gives some banter back. It was a bit unlucky for him that the number six he showed also corresponds to our CL wins, and the number of games he hasn’t been able to win in a trot. But anyway, fair is fair.

On the other hand, him complaining about it in the post-match conference is a bit weird, and shows for me that he is under considerable pressure right now. He could have laughed off any questions about it quite easily, but chose to double down on it.

They had something interesting on this on Radio 5 this morning. The heat of the moment banter vs. having had 30 minutes post match to think on it response. I think with more time he’ll go back to seeing it under the intended meaning of just in game banter.

He was probably referring to this reputation from the outside that “Liverpool fans are different/classy”, etc. He said something like it’s funny that they didn’t sing it when the score was higher than 1-0 or 2-0, in the past (but then they weren’t in such crisis?). Same as when that bottle/bus incident happened, but back then he said he knows not all Liverpool fans are like that. Every fanbase has it’s % of idiots, no exceptions. Anyway, I don’t see much issues with what happened or if they touched on it more after the game, both the journalists and Pep himself. The crowd gave a bit, he gave a bit back, it’s a small topic to touch on and we all move on. I have a pretty good guess that in the next game, we might do it again, just to wind him up.
