Last man standing on the last thread, first in on this one
Hearing to conclude next month for an outcome in March?
Fuck that.
Deliver the verdict of their impending relegation to the blue national vanarama north and subsequent liquidation after the season, donāt want no fucking excuses.
I never watch this shit, but somehow motd is on and oh what larks!
What a shower of shite!
Anything less than 7-0 will be a disappointment.
Iāve no problem with leaving their punishment until after we win the league. That way they canāt claim we only won it due to a points deduction or whatever other punishment they receive .Leave it till the summer where they can get what they deserve (up to and including kicked out of the league) or if itās as little as a points deduction then that can be imposed on them next season .
Eurgh when a post switches its always a curse.
The Times article for the above. Zero chance it actually happens.
Not sure Brady should be having a say on it.
Also seems to be very political in her views.
Both clubs have weaseled passed this before, claiming they are not state owned
I agree with no state owners. It is somewhat shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted though. What happens with Man City and Newcastle? It is easy for the state to claim they donāt own those clubs, and if the Prem isnāt fully satisfied, investment vehicles can easily be set up to show independence. (They wonāt be independent, of course, but proving that will be a foolās errand).
The sponsorship thing has more teeth, and thereās a sense that PSR is starting to work too. Thatās why Newcastle didnāt spend another 500M on players in summer, or whatever it takes, to make sure they get back in the CL.
As ever, the biggest question is what is going to be done about Man Cityās cheating? Itās all well and good seeing the government talk about good governance moving forward (regardless of political stripe, the irony!) but what about the past decade of cheating? How will that be punished?
Weāre all watching.
Pep āmockingā Anfield with his 6 titles (during and after the match).
He used to hate Mourinho but now he is imitating Mou.
This is aligning nicely for a token points deduction as their punishment, when theyāre playing themselves out of contention anyway.
Sickening.
Hopefully those six fingers he showed will be used in āhow many PL titles has your Man City been stripped of, Pepā GIFs. He has his fans among rivals and neutrals but heās always been a classless cheater whoās effectively played his whole post-Barcelona career without any financial constraints and with the help of referees.
IF, Forest, Spurs & Brentford win midweek, these cunts will be sitting 8th in the table
Iām putting money on Pep not lasting the season.
I didnāt mind the 6 finger thing. For me it was all part of the acceptable banter in the game and didnāt spill into anything ugly. He was hearing āsacked in the morningā being sung, and he held up 6 fingers to the Kop. Fair enough.
As for the serious business of their charges, they need to be in keeping with the scale of the cheating, which went on over many years and yielded many titles. Their punishment should see titles stripped and a multi-year rebuilding job to get back to the Prem.
My fear is a token punishment, in a season when they have fallen off anyway, which will embolden them to splash the cash and regroup. Hope Iām wrong.
Say the word ādissolutionā.
