Yeah, Silva, Reindeers out, all the indications Nico is not fancied and wants to leave and the stories about Rodri. Even with Elliott in already and Bouaddi potentially joining him, there is another couple of moves theyâd likely have to make unless Maresca decides to repurpose players like o Reilly or Lewis

Looks like City are going for Bouaddi as their Rodri replacement, shame really as I liked the player but will now have to view him as a cheating mercenary up until the point they are relegated to non-league and we can poach him

Almost as big a scandal is how fucking long itâs taking. The suspicion has to be that theyâre gonna get no more than a slap on the wrist and that the longer they can delay it the less blowback theyâll receive , owing to the fact that most of us will be in our graves by then.

Reijnders off to Saudi. As a AC Milan fan, I was surprised that City were interested to begin with - a useful player, but not someone I thought was playing below his level with Milan. Didnât think he would make much of an impact in the PL. But disappointing to see him shuffle off to Saudi Arabia in his 20s.

Find the Saudi league very odd with their commitments dropping on stuff they have to run in favour of events that happen there that leagues likely to collapse soon.
One of the arguments is that football has long been authentically very popular in Saudi and so spending money to prop up a decent domestic league serves a different purpose for the regime than the global sports washing type activities were designed to do.

Fair enough but if you are scaling back then at some point the appeal will drain.
Considering most stay for a year I guess a footballer is seeing it as a holiday in a secluded resort with occasional work.
