Saturday, watching football and enjoying bacon and egg. Sounds masculine in a stereotypical way, but I’m in touch with Mrs ROTW too, as she likes a mimosa as a weekend brunch treat. Don’t mind if I do. Cheers!
I try to eat a reasonably healthy diet, love fish, salads, etc. Saturday seems to be the day where I default in a cave man sort of direction.
Jumping up and down and screaming at the TV when the idjut of a ref disallows a perfect goal from Macca, because Virg is immense and out jumps a keeper.
There has been some discussion about a footballer wearing a dress in the Unreliable Rumours thread. I didn’t want to derail that thread any more than it already has been, so I thought I’d comment here.
I’d say that a footballer publicly dressing in any way that he wants to in a world where carrying a bag is seen as a sign of lack of masculinity is a sign of great bravery. That person clearly is courageous and doesn’t give a fuck about the opinions of others. I’d say it’s a sign of character.
Sign him up, whoever he is.
I don’t know if it would be possible in humans, but there is a genetic mutation that can occur in whippets that can cause them to have massively bloated muscles. It’s believed that it came about in racing whippets because a single mutation leads to much faster normal whippets:
So, probably one for the blokes who are more advanced in years - What do you do when your mate’s nostril hair is getting unruly?
I’ve got a couple of friends who have rogue hairs sticking out of their nasal cavities and I find it difficult to concentrate on what they’re saying because of these distractions. At what point do you mention it? Would you be hurt by comments on your nose hairs? Is there a diplomatic solution?
Eyebrows and ear hairs can be an issue too.
Please advise.
Thanks, Craig
