I can sympathise, the whole family has been down with fever, chills, chough and a snotty nose - started last Sunday with the boy, followed by the girl and then the missus and now me since Wednesday Recovering slowly, in that order, but just not fun - AT ALL.
p.s. I don’t even have appetite for beer!!!

Jammy bastard. I had to drag my sorry, covid infected arse out of bed at 3am to tell Mini Mascot to go back to sleep.

Nice lazy morning for us (no kids). Coffee consumed, going to take the dog for a long walk (its his birthday) the in the afternoon head over to the in-laws for feeding and getting merry.

When my brother and I were kids, we snook into mum and dad’s room on Christmas Morning and forwarded their alarm clock to 8am. At 5am.
When they found out……
Jnr here has concerns about the legitimacy of Father Christmas. We all opened a present last night from each of us. She got LOTR from us, both inscribed the cover.
30 mins ago Jnr unwrapped another copy of LOTR from Father Christmas. The smile on the face was epic. Proof (very subtle) that Father C does exist.
