No further transfers announced overnight and Transfermarkt haven’t changed any valuations, so I will officially declare @Iftikhar the first winner of the Michael Edwards Trophy:

If I could make a suggestion for the next incarnation, are there any sites that quote the full value of a transfer?
It was quite frustrating at times to be close to the pin on a transfer, only for transfermarkt to only record the up-front portion of the fee and so lose out.
We’re basing our guesstimates on what we think is fair market value for a player, not on what we think a buying club will commit to initially.
I’d be more than willing to accept another source, if everyone can agree on one. 
As stated originally, this is the first attempt at this particular competition so improvements and refinements can always be made.
All suggestions are welcome. 
I don’t know if there is a way to dock points for all the transfers people pick that don’t happen. I didn’t pick 10 because I thought business would be slow, but that was wrong approach lol. Might be a hard one to do.
I do think it would be fair to penalize people for wrong picks - that would make us work to accurately predict who would actually leave. Scoring would be something like 1 point for every correct pick minus 1 point for every incorrect pick. So then if I pick 6 players to go, and only for of them leave, my score would be 4 - 2 = 2.
Sounds like more work for me…
