Still, he spent a lot of time against Brighton playing in a more central position near the edge of the box when we were attacking. Maybe I’m too dim to understand why but I’m not sure what a player like him, whose one of main strengths is providing width and runs from the deep, is doing there.

That was my reaction too, the most absurd decision to give a foul against him there.
One of the grittiest players in the squad, leaves it all out there whenever he plays and we’d benefit more if we rotated as much in other positions as we did between Kerkez and Robbo.

Quite like Truffert and I think Hall will go on to be a fantastic LB for England and wherever else but I’d go as far to say that there isn’t a better LB in the league performing week in week out like this guy is.
