It reminds me of Bruce Buffer, the voice of the Octogan. He brother is the more famous Michael Buffer, with the patented “Let’s Get Ready to Rumble” catchphrase. In trying to find his own schtick he realized he couldnt copy his brother so instead he aped Jimmy Lennon Jr’s “It’s Showtime” and went with the basic and underwhelming “It’s Time”. It never worked. Always felt derivative and poorly executed.
Must do better.
