You point is pointless
Player comes in on mega wages is similar to a good signing fee and salary. Point is valid. Money buys success.
Martin Skrtel having a full head of hair will never sit right with me
Thats not what your original point was you said spending never mentioned wages till now.
Whatâs that saying about arguing with an idiotâŚ
i think this post, while technically true, is typical internet debateâŚ
we know what he meant, everyone knows what he meant, granted he didnt litterally document the inclusion of wagesâŚbutâŚseriouslyâŚdo we need him to dig that deepâŚ
Love you too.
Wages are free? Who knew?
Stop digging the hole bigger you meant transfer fees.
But do you really?
Nah, you spent too much time playing golf last time you managed us.
FIFA and UEFA are really weird organisations in the players nominations Liverpool has been totally disregarded and disrespected what has our club done to upset them this badly. No Salah no VVD no Konate but you look at the list of nominees and you wonder why some of them are on it?
I think a big issue is caring about such things. I think it ought to be amply clear that so many of these arenât just popularity contests but also very much a social media buzz bias.
Not kowtowed to them enough.
Total subservience is rewarded.
Given that itâs FIFA and UEFA, Iâm surprised you didnât talk about greasing the right pockets instead.
FIFA and UEFA shortlist? I donât even know what awards we are talking about!
I am old school with all that. Not quite Ronny Moran, âThereâs a box full of medals for winning the league. Take one if you think you deserve it,â but closer to his style than all the emphasis I see on individual awards in the modern game.
I get it, the celebrity, the money, the need to have superstars and so on. I know I am swimming against the stream, but I do long for something different.
Essentially my position is that individual awards in a team game are largely meaningless. And ideally, anyone who wins an individual award will downplay their own contribution and stress how the team he played for was good.
Paul Merson on Mo Salah: âPersonally, I wouldnât offer him a new contract. Iâm sorry, but I wouldnât do it. He is 32 and will turn 33 by the end of the season.â
âYou simply get older; everyone ages. In the case of Harry Kane, itâs different. He will play until 36 or 37. He recovers well, he sees the pass, he knows how to play.â
CUNT!!!
He sees the pass. Maybe he sees the pass, ignores the pass, shoots.
Mo Salah can do things with a football Harry Kane couldnât dream of.
Ah Mr Intelligence supreme himself, Paul Merson.
The same person that last week said he couldnât fathom why we went so strong midweek and also said âthis was a game that meant nothing to Madridâ despite them being 24th in the table.
Only reason he has a seat at the Sky Studio is out of empathy for his previous gambling addictionâŚin fact the whole panel is brimmed with misfits.
