I get people getting frustrated by his performances but as usual some take it further than that. I don’t get piling on someone as mild-mannered as Salah, especially on club legends. I never really enjoyed the constant shitting on Gerrard either, how it’s suddenly ok to call him all sorts after he gave his whole career through some of the club’s worst years in modern history. This was before he even joined the Saudi League, that tainted him a bit in my eyes too. This rant is going a bit off topic so I’ll stop.

Surely you understand how bilbo baggins comes from someone who is calling themselves @dildoswaggins ? It’s not too much of a stretch, even for someone who has to check which hemisphere they are in each day? 
And, after making such an intellectual leap, its easy to imagine - assuming you are familiar with LOTR and/or hobbit - how the phrase ‘bilbo has much to recommend about him’ comes from. If not I highly recommend reading both.

The numbers speak for themselves.
If you look at that graph of fouls that should’ve been called against fouls that were called - Mo is way off in an entirely different galaxy. He gets no help.
Henry isn’t the same player if he receives the same level of “protection” as Mo. Neither is anybody else, really.
PL era, others have had a standout season or two, but in totality, Mo is strongly in the argument.

He is beyond doubt THE BEST PLAYER in the PL era.
For the reasons you state.
Henry, Bergkamp, Zola, Silva, Rooney, Ronaldo et al are pale arguments against the claim.
For fuck sake, its not even an argument on a Liverpool forum…some people need to understand that being partisan, which is ok, still allows objectivity.

MO has scored goals consistently for what seems like a lifetime… Apart from splurges over a few seasons at most, non of the other ‘so-called’ greats have got near him on this point..

Yeah, agree with that.
We can compare careers (of course Suarez wasn’t here as long and as consistent as Salah), but purely as footballers, there were better than him at Liverpool and the PL overall.

I think Salah is the best forward to play the game in the Premier League era.
I don’t like conversations about best players overall, because they are doing different jobs, which makes to comparison futile.
Was Viera better than Terry? Was Giggs better than Keane? Is Alisson better than Kane?
Personally, I think Gerrard was the greatest midfielder of the premier league era. Was he better than Salah? I don’t think you can even have the conversation - they are doing totally different jobs.
