Mohamed SALAH: 2025/26

Is he skipping the last Egypt match and return back to Liverpool?

Senegal left back had his number whenever he did get the ball, so pretty much like this entire season. He can no longer get past players either with pace or skill, I think his success rate is a low 20% this season. On top of that, Egypt was a pure embarrassment to actually playing football.

Doubt it. Even if he doesn’t start the match on Saturday.

Yeah he’s done here if he can’t accept he shouldn’t be starting all the time.

I wonder if the meeting/s between LFC officials and Mo’s agent have happened, or are going to happen? Or has it all blown over?

I’d say it’s not crazy to imagine that they have happened and will happen still, no matter what happens next summer. It’s just normal.

What Mo did with that public outburst wasn’t normal, but talks between entourages… of course.

I never understood why a lot of people expected Mo to come back and be our salvation as he was poor before he left and for me at Premier league level his legs have gone.

The premier league requires players to be on top of their games quick in both mind and action, he can still do it but not at Premier league level.

I thought he looked bright and dangerous the first ten minutes. He then duffed a few possessions and disappeared into the sort of ineffectiveness that is dogged him in all, but about three games this season

He’ll be sold in the summer, to one of the retirement homes in Saudi Arabia.

Yep as I said his legs have gone it’s not for the want of trying, just nothing is working.

I know it’s not the same, but I am 59 years old playing over 35’s which I have been very competive in, but last year, and it’s not fitness, but it is my reactions, being able to sort my feet out and failing at things that were natural that make me realise, my legs have gone at this level.

That has happened through all the various standards I have played at and I see the same happening to Mo and even Robbo defensively, they can perform still but not in the Premier league and the pace it is played at.

yeah its really hard to watch this all unfold.

Last 2 games have been performances of someone who doesn’t appear to be in the right headspace and low on confidence, still can’t believe he opted to pass with all the space that was afforded.

He can still be influential but I don’t see how leaving him out on the pitch for 90mins every game helps him or us.

What about his performances before he went to Afcon, have you forgotten those?
