Boris is very close to Jürgen, by the way; they were even in contact during his time in prison.

pretty sure it was lost in translation, what he meant was stakeholders.
shareholders/stakeholders it’s irrelevant. What Boris means is that people who actually have skin in the game as far as Liverpool football club is concerned, as in FSG, need to listen to Mo. I think Boris knows a thing or two about top performance in sport
Then instead of making twitter statements backing Mo Salah, the legends that are Klopp and Becker direct message FSG billionaires and say, everyone wants you to sack/compensate the current Liverpool management setup and replace them with the future available management structure for the benefit of the club.
All this standards topic is not even a worth a click!
i’m not sure what you’re going on about but the cost of sacking Slot.
To pay off his last year will cost Liverpool approximately £6 million (all publicly available information).
That’s peanuts compared to the losses that the team would incur if they don’t make the Champions League or if they lose out on potential signings that can get the club back into top shape because of Slot’s presence…or worse…the club gets saddled with the wrong player signing and with a high wage and then they sack Slot and they can’t shift that new signing.
I think the finances of sacking Slot and his staff is an absolute non-factor.
I really don’t understand why you keep bleating on about this.
At this time, backing Salah’s message has more clout than calling Henry directly… Henry probably asks “Who are you?” when Becker calls.
This! The longer term financial impact leaving Slot in outweighs the short term money loss for Slot and co payout. Cut the losses.

ah apologies, i realise now you were being sarcastic ![]()

It’s probably because the next guy that wants to come in wants overall control, like the new manager of Chelsea
Therefore that means every shit football player that ended up becoming a director of football or whatever that is, gets a P45 and it moves forward
FSG have to sack and pay them all for a year, or bury their head in sand, and hope it’s not as bad as are we a 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th going into last match of next season
im now doubting the whole DoF-head coach structure. or maybe hughes was the wrong appointment.

What the entirety of that level of staff at LFC earn is pretty much immaterial compared to what you lose from your revenue when the team doesn’t perform, doesn’t get into the Champions League, loses out on players because of the instability at the club. And Edwards Hughes and Slot are all on their last years so paying them off will be completely irrelevant in the big scheme of things
And if those 3 aren’t ancient history in 2 weeks time, then you can bet the billionaires that bought our club aren’t reading the tweets from Boris Becker or Thierry Henry.
Nor are they seeing insight into the likes of the paid player Mo Salah’s posts.
The players have just pretty much voted a no confidence over the management setup.
If nothing changes before next season, then they really couldn’t give two shits, and everyone’s opinion counts for about nothing!
or they are thinking about selling up. although the club in the current state would fetch a poor return compared to whatever the evaluation is.
@oracular_spectacular people are gonna wake up tomorrow (well, today), look at this thread with all the new messages, get all excited, and come in here to see us having a conversation.![]()

If at least one of them isn’t in attendance at the main stand on Sunday then the answer is clear and obvious (I hate that saying, everyone is using it)
They should be shown to back the club, good, bad or mediocre

I fully expect at least Billy Hogan to be there as it’s Salah and Robbo’s last match

I have no idea what the cattle barons of Texas have to do with our club.
If both Brighton and Bournemouth lose this week, our fans should stay at home and our boys should purposefully lose 0-10 in the final game in Anfield to get Slot sacked.
To me this outburst is disgusting and it looks really bad on the squad. Standards dropped? Why are most of the players whose standard dropped liking it?
I don’t care if you don’t agree with the tactics and want the manager canned but don’t just put in a half assed effort like in recent months.
Most here will disagree but lost legend status in my eyes.
And the timing, seriously? One more game to go. Could it not wait? Did he need to make just that more distraction ahead of a crucial game. The only person this benefits is Mo.
This isn’t about Mo as he is leaving this is about the team, the mentality and about the style and our philosophy.
Oh and that Arne has dropped the ball on all the above.
Our last few games have been abysmal and can’t get any worse!
If anything, this cements his status even more. Salah was the one person who didn’t need to come out and blast the current setup behind the scenes, as he will be gone in a few weeks. He has used the press for self-serving reasons in the past, but this is by far the most altruistic thing he has done for the club.
It also puts into perspective his previous outburst at the time of the Leeds game. He was seeing first hand how the standards were being allowed to drop, while he was the one getting the blame and shunted to the stands.
He shouldn’t have gone public, but this can’t be the first time he has aired these grievances. Unfortunately, they fell on deaf ears then, perhaps now that they’re a matter of public record, someone will take notice. As for the timing, it’s not ideal but let’s be serious; the least of this team’s issues is Salah coming out and setting the record straight.
Sala truly cares for the club. This needed to happen sooner.
