Sooner might have given us a chance to make a change.
Before the last game? No. This is purely selfish.
He is leaving and saying it is not my fault… just before the final send off.

This raises questions that deep down only you can answer? As in, is it the post you are laughing at, or the world?

normally id agree with you, and Mo has left his teammates in a bit of a predicament here
hes litterally called out Slot and most have the team have hit ‘like’
its not nothing, even though social media is nothing in everyday life, in the football theatre, it has a bit more to it
In the meantime, FSG still have to calculate the cost of sacking Slot and all the management positions from their final contractual substantial massive money deals, then bring in the next guy and his team on negotiated additional deals
Cancelling Mo’s contract saves £20m, more than enough to pay off Slot and his staff.
Hughes and Edwards shouldn’t have bullshitted and said the transition from Klopp to Arne would be smooth as their playing styles are so alike. Are they fuck.

The rumors about Monaco are intensifying; I’ve read them several times now.
I actually have absolutely no problem with them spending time together, especially since the coach is giving them so much free time. It just all comes across as a bit awkward.
It looks like it’s been brewing behind the scenes for a while. Presumably, but I’m speculating, the meal out with Hughes and Slot was an attempt to placate the rebels (ie whole team).

I’d forgotten about that dinner. You’re definitely onto something there. Clearly the dinner didn’t go as the hierarchy would have hoped for.
What dinner? Enlighten me please.
Are they really in Monaco?
Are they really in Monaco?
It could be Rotterdam or anywhere, Liverpool or Rome…
The team had a dinner at a fancy Italian place in Liverpool last week. Officially it was said to be a farewell dinner for Mo and Robbo and Slot and Hughes were there.
I can’t remember what thread it was in, but earlier in the week there were photos of Hughes and Slot with Salah and Robertson going out for a ‘meal’. Maybe they were just socialising, but in th circumstances you wonder if they weren’t trying to cut them off at the pass…and the sweet talking has backfired?
I am sure that was a barrel of laughs having Slot and Hughes there, the latter having a personality like a robot!
Salah was the one person who didn’t need to come out and blast the current setup behind the scenes, as he will be gone in a few weeks.
I disagree.
As always with Mo, the first thing to consider is how does this benefit Mo.
He is on the job market, looking for a contract that will pay close to the £450k he gets here. And he is coming off a season in which he has looked poor by his standards. There is justified talk that the legs have gone. That he’s finished. There is a reason why Liverpool are happy to give him a free transfer to get that contract off the books.
So there is huge benefit to Mo getting a message out there to the footballing world, that the standards seen this year are not his standards.
There is more than a little ‘don’t look at me, guv’ about this statement. He calling out everyone else, and putting the blame anywhere but his own feet.
Look at Robbo. He hasn’t made a statement, but after the Villa game, a game in which he didn’t even get on the pitch, he was apologising to fans with his hand on his heart. That’s leadership, not this petulant display of buck passing.
By the way, I notice Dom Szoboszlai, a player who has spent the entire season ignoring forward passes, making the calm down hand gesture at his team, and passing the ball back into defence, has liked Mo’s post, FFS.
Slot should be sacked, and I suppose if it helps speed that along it will be worth it, but some of the players - if not all the players at some point - have been a fucking disgrace.
2-3 day break in Monaco. For fucks sake.
This is not a serious football team.
wouldn’t surprise me to see Salah dropped from next weeks squad to face Brentford.
a little fuck you from Slot?
Highly doubt Slot has the balls to drop Mo next week.
