Mohamed SALAH: 2025/26

Mo is releasing his pent-up frustrations onto the opposition.
…“~sux to be you~”

Just watched his goals on reddit. Superb goals.

I got laughed at saying he should play more centrally in the summer

Hard to tell from what I can see if there’s anything much different to where he usually plays. He got his two goals from ‘his’ zones. Those formations from different livescores are not always correct. But if they’re all having Egypt in a 3 at the back structure and by the type of players like Trezeguet and Mostafa, I guess Salah played as the right sided forward in a 3-4-3 shape. Plus, it’s Djibouti. But positive that he scored a few, nice finishes, even against that lot.

yeah no offence to Djibouti, but im assuming their defender will sit his grandkid on his lap one day and tell him about the time he kept Mo Salah to two goals…

not by me…

having said that, i didnt see too much of an issue until we signed Isak, up until that moment i could see Mo still staying wide and playiing off Ekitike…

once wed signed Ekitike AND Isak…i guess i was and still am just curious to see how all this adds together on the park…

certainly not laughing at anyome though

I think you are right as in the wing he is easily marked out of the game even though Djibouti’s defense is not great shakes.

I know you have to take the team into account but he’s appeared completely lost in some of our games that’s more than just the level of opposition.

He has been (by his previous standards) really poor. And it’s gone on long enough that he needs to be dropped as he doesn’t deserve to be in the side at present. We can afford to carry Mo and an out of form/unfit Alexis.

Salah nowhere near the match against Guinea-Bissau, probably on a couch somewhere. :+1:
