Reading that Chelsea and Caicedo agreed personal terms back in May. How is that possible without Brighton giving permission to Chelsea to talk to Caicedo?

Seems that way but theyāve had to cancel all their other transfers and loan out their first choice goalkeeper to make it work financially.
Talk of them signing Michael Olise, Romeo Lavia and Tyler Adams is likely to disappear if they complete the deal.

Iām not the biggest FSG fan but I have respect for the way they have gone about this transfer window. For one they havenāt been paying slag influencers to do their dirty work for them.

HereWeGo who is a Chelsea shill has been saying for 24 hours basically that itās Chelseaās signing to lose. The last few hours a number of actual semi-reliable journalists are saying that Chelsea will imminently place a winning bid.
That hasnāt happened. But on the flip side there has been no public evidence on movement on our side either.
TL;DR no change either way yet.

I wonāt begrudge the club if they walked away from the deal. It is getting ridiculous. There are other targets out there surely that match the profile we are looking for. Letās go and get them!

The money isnāt resting in Brightonās account, if we were to agree a deal elsewhere we would probably remove our deal from this.
People spent a week or two moaning about our Lavia bids and then all of sudden we did this, this didnāt take 2 minutes.
