Have never understood the argument for wanting to live in a particular place. It’s a few years. When their career finishes they can live anywhere and everywhere in the world. Don’t see any footballing reasons for choosing Chelsea over Liverpool

He’s young and London, like it or not, has a much bigger and more diverse ‘scene’ than any other city in the UK, and arguably the rest of Europe!

I imagine there would be some at least even if they are not major (unless it is a failed medical or the player walks away).

This is what concerns me. He’s obviously a talented player but he appears to come with baggage. If he was going at a bargain price then I’d say he’s worth a punt but he clearly isn’t.
We need to move on and let Chelsea financially ruin themselves.

We probably already have moved on. Our "bid"is just an email, its more effort to formally withdraw it than it is to just approach other targets.

I assume reaching an agreement is a bit more than just an LOI… And that there may be some penalties related to walking away if they are not for X,y,z reason defined in the agreement.
I doubt it, deals break down all the time for a wide variety of reasons
I watched the Brighton Managers press conference. Well he said I’ve forgotten him already, or something similar. Can’t see him being in that team ever again. Maybe Brighton are holding out to teach him a lesson. I don’t think that’s Liverpool stuff.

Does anyone here really think this will actually happen? Only thing I can speculate on is we’re not making things easy for Chelsea and are most likely sorting out an alternative in the background.
