Moises Caicedo (DM/CM/RB) Brighton and Hove Albion

Chelsea are prepared to play £100m +£15m in add ons for Caicedo. [

if true, this is less than our bid unless the upfront is more than ours

This was my profile pic on TIA:

So they haven’t put a bid in then.

:hourglass_flowing_sand:

Here we fucking go…soon…

We can make a good inference though.

Our bid accepted. Player/agent prefers Chelsea’s money (they’ll pay much more than us to the player). Player/agent are hoping Brighton eventually agree a fee with Chelsea.

Can infer they will only take our offer if Chelsea’s attempts fails. We are the fall back option for Moises.

Sense of humour! I like you already!

It’s sunday and there’s football matches and I still find myself lured in here to laugh at those who think this might get done on a sunday when there’s football matches on!

Well thats still not as good as ours.
We have more upfront and sell on clause…no add ons.
Proves chelsea cannot find the funds if add ons needed

His old club must be loving this as they get 20% due to sell on clause

It doesn’t have to be as good as ours. It only has to be satisfactory to Brighton and the more drawn out this becomes the more likely it is they are going to have to move a little to meet chelsea where they are.

There are comments on here about us upping up bid to Brighton which seems to completely misunderstand the hold up

Maybe his agent is strong arming the lad

Since Chelsea seem to have the player onside,i think their offer just needs to be in a similar ballpark to ours. All that should make a sale to chelsea the preferred option for a club who just want rid at this stage.
I think he’d have been great for us but there are more out there and 111mp gives us 22 chances to find the next Caicedo .

Agree.

And also, what agent advises a player to sign a 5 year deal in March 2023 along with a club option to extend for a further year (so 6 years in total) and no release clause, when you know that several clubs are after your client in the summer?

Especially as reports state the new offer he signed was only 60k per week. My guess would be a hefty agent fee paid by Brighton.

Moises’ agent is is taking him for a ride. Moises seems not the brightest to go along with it.

Welcome back. I do recall you. Apologies for the less than warm reception. Grumpy old cunts in here, and all that. Big changes since then, I’m kind of like the big cheese around here now, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Wait, who is this? Are you new as well?

Dual accounts, that’s how I get half my likes.

What has Caicedo been doing the the past week? He’s obviously not training, so maybe he’s locked in his hotel room getting fat on Twinkies.

This is him by the time he signs for them.

Haha, thanks.

Good to know, I’ll be extra nice to you.

Unless I’ve completely misunderstood the discussion, I think he is Don Jeffe. I think he accidentally revealed that in his first post, hence him having to delete it.

Strong arming him in the sense of undercurrents of the underworld.!!

I will say it again all the stories saying the deal is agreed are been done with the hope we withdraw our bid.
