First game of the season, London a world city, possible business to be done, club offices there, transfer window still open, maybe a meeting for purposes of alignment, since we are throwing record bids in and even if Caicedo does go to Chelsea, we will surely not want to be left short, so while I doubt Henry is too hands on with transfer business, he will be in the loop.
I’m also hoping Henry is there to kick Boehly in the bollocks. Maybe even a nice billionaire-type threat, along the lines of we are going to kick up a fuss at what you are doing in the market. Expect a points deduction. Leave Caicedo to us and we won’t make as much of a fuss.
Or alternately, Linda, credit card, Oxford Street.
Who knows.
PS - the unpalatable part of it is that we have a few too many divvies in our fan base, and judging by some of the comments Linda gets on Twitter, going to Anfield might be more hassle that it is worth?

I’m not on twitter, so I don’t know what the comments are regarding Linda Henry, but my hubby says she looks very glamourous and and she always approaches the players and has a chat…seems a good egg…
She fancied a trip to Westfield to seek the eateries.
She is heading off to the White City one mind.
I agree entirely about the divvies, unfortunately some of them attend matches at Anfield. They’d be be more suited to the Gwladys Street end at Goodison.

I honestly thought we had a level headed fan base but this last few weeks has been an eye opener.
All fan bases have idiots. We are lucky in that we have fewer of them than most other clubs, and certainly than the other big ones.
