One reason to think this deal may genuinely happen is that Brighton probably dont want to sell to Chelsea, so announcing a deal with someone else is a benefitā¦for which they agree to be very flexible on the dealās structure, even though the price is elevated.
Either that or Nike will give us the cash and weāll amortize the shit out of it!
