Should Naby be allowed anywhere near a running machine? We know how accident prone he is.
Man running on treadmill falls and starts doing push ups hilarious gym stuff must watch - YouTube

We have played 39 games so far this season. Naby didnāt had any major injury issues (Naby KeĆÆta - Injury history) and missed just two games due to AFCON. Yet, he has played just 20 games (986 mins)?
He had that injury against Utd and against Brighton? He has also been rested around intrrnational call ups i think because he plays virtually every minute for national team i think.
He is also probably not our go to starting midfielder, but a back up who will feature frequently when fit.
Iām a fan and would love to see him stay.
None managed to hold on to that third midfield spot. Ox and Curtis were inconsistent while Thiago had fitness issues. I have a feeling that Klopp might have deliberately used Keita sparingly to increase his longevity.
Henderson: 33 games, 2420 minutes
Fabinho: 28 games, 2149 minutes
AOC: 27 games, 1371 minutes
Curtis: 17 games, 1114 minutes
Thiago: 19 games, 1039 minutes
KeĆÆta: 20 games, 986 minutes
Milner: 25 games, 897 minutes
Morton: eight games, 515 minutes
Elliott: seven games, 372 minutes
Thought he did pretty well today, considering the situation with Thiago so close to kick-off.
I must admit I was a little bit worried with him having to go into starting mode so soon and go up against a little machine like Kante.
There was potential for a Midtjylland/Real away performance, but all the signs were different, I donāt remember a single mistake really.
In fact, I think the best stuff we played today was in that central-left channel and left side.
Looking at Chelseaās average positions, that was where they had a little hole and I thought theyād flip the sides of Mount and Pulisic to cover it, which they didnāt.
Stepped up and did the job as the game went on, was quite a lot of space that didnāt help us at times if we are to play Wembley we will have to be careful about that.
Quietly putting together a very good run of games. Iād be offering him a new contract, really top class player.
His ability was never a question for me, itās his fitness that was the issue. But more so his fitness along with Thiago and Oxās fitness.
Iād be looking at replacing Ox and keeping Keita for a bit longer if he wants to stay. But thatās another thing. Heās difficult to get a read from. I couldnāt tell you if he loves it here, is desperate to get a transfer asap, or doesnāt especially care as long as heās getting games and getting paid.
Yeah Iāve said the same the one issue we do have is that our two creative types are injured often, Ox is probably gone to be fair but the decision for Klopp is to buy a CM (Probably someone young but ready, I assume Carvalho gives them that option) keep Keita or Thiago or keep them both and hope they can do what they seem to have done with Matip.
I think that Klopp was questioned on Keitaās new contract in his pre-Brighton presser and he sounded optimistic about it. That said, Klopp always sounds optimistic when players his players are nearing the end of their contracts!
And his ownā¦
How things can get manipulated if you donāt really hear it from the horsesā mouthā¦
Unless I missed something else, Klopp gave a very general answer. āNabyās future will be greatā was the response after a question more in line with Liverpool and a possible new deal. That doesnāt have to mean itās at Liverpool. If anything, it sounds a tiny bit more like he wanted to avoid it. Itās not the same as saying āwe want Salah to remain with usā. Just one example.
Klopp is almost always positive about Naby, I sense he often tries to counter the general narrative or feeling outside. Heās almost always positive anyway (if he wants to be a bit more negative or less positive, you can hear it between the lines), but a bit more when there are certain cases that divide opinion a bit more.
You can also sense that with players in some clips, itās like they accepted that Keita is simply Keita. Will probably never be what we all thought he could be, is still pretty good when heās fit and doesnāt have sleeping moments on the pitch.
Not a trouble-maker, but like a shy little kid (noticed heās been communicating more on the pitch, thatās a nice detail) who is being looked after. Thereās also shit happening in his country, so who knows how he feelsā¦
Think theyāre all past the high hopes bubble when we signed him and then also the anticlimax period. Now it looks relaxed, cracking jokes and just using the player whenever we can. Who knows what were the possible reactions behind the scenes sometimes with the likes of Hendo, Millie, etc.
On Naby, thought he was a bit weaker against Brighton, but yeah, he had some good performances lately.
In terms of style heās good, in terms of quality probably never what we hoped, age considering out other CMās is good (like a bridge between the likes of Jones/Elliott and the older ones like Hendo/Thiago/Fabinho), but it would still surprise me a little bit if they agreed on a new deal.
Naby Keita had been called up to represent Guinea for two friendly fixtures this month but has been withdrawn due to a knee issue following on from his appearance at Nottingham Forest.
Good to see. Absolutely sick of the Guinea FA and their treatment of Naby. Heās only just played in the CAF, he doesnāt need to play some friendlies you fuckwits.
I think with whatās about to happen and whatās just gone it would have been best just to have the games that mattered in this period. There is no point in friendlies in general but at this point not in the slightest.
The commentator mentioned it a few minutes after he came off, that it looked like he had a knee issue.
He put ice on it immediately after coming off.
But notably, Naby Keita was not pictured with the rest of his teammates after a āminorā knee injury forced his withdrawal from Guineaās international friendly during the recent break.
