Nathaniel PHILLIPS: 2021/22 (on loan at Bournemouth)

I would say Nat is about 10-15m, I think a bid will take it over.

We usually sign and then sell have done on everyone bar I think Alisson who we went late for. Though I’m sure someone will come up with another example.

Fingers crossed we get a buyer this window.

Don’t even joke in that way.

Not again.

Well , there is ben white

I think you all massively under-rate Lord Nat.

Signed him in my Norwich save on FM22 and he has been a bastion at the back for me. Seen our average goals conceded drop from near 2.5 per game to just over 1. Has also chipped in with plenty of goals going forward (admittedly with such a large head, it is pretty hard to miss him in the 18 yard box). No chance I’m selling him for anything less than 50M and I hope Klop sees this thorough and amazing report and agrees

Burnley, Norwich or Watford should have made an offer for him last summer, and if not then, it was stupidity they didn’t in January.

As it was, Bournemouth reaped the reward with a promotion. They should not make the same mistake as the relegated teams - if they can get him for 10 to 15m, they shouldn’t piss about with an 8m offer.

Make a decent offer, and plan for how to survive in the Prem.

They still haven’t got over the way we fleeced them with Ibe and Solanke.

Solanke turned out to be great business 29 goals to win promotion.

Yeah even if he flops in the PL he has paid them back in his return. I really don’t know about him though it’s not the place to discuss it, I get Bamford vibes that guy I really expected to be bad in the PL.

Start a bidding war for phillips , plenty of premier league clubs who need good english midfielders and phillps is better in that regard than ben white and slabby

Ibe yes. Solanke no

He’ll be 30 and still under contract at Liverpool.

:joy:

I wouldn’t mind actually. The player would get to play regularly (and that might even increase his value), we get a decent loan-fee (£2-3 mil), and Bournemouth gets their player.

I’d prefer money in the bank personally. Shit, or get off the pot.

We’ve come a long way from wanting, as fans, £20m to £2-3m.

I predict a few more loans and he leaves on a free. :joy:

I think he will be sold in this window.

Might just be Bournemouth trying to spread what money they have on other targets…
Coming to LFC purely as a friend in need sort of approach

Spending money to sign on a permanent deal a player who made himself important while on loan seems like the most reliable use of money, but is also a bit of a sink. At best it keeps you stable with very little room for further improvement and diverts funds away from other signings that could make you better. If they’ve been released to you once already on loan, push like hell to not have to spend money on them for the next season.

Any loan he goes on will include a million or two in a fee.
