The only part of that apology from Henry I have a real problem with is the apology he makes to Hogan.
I’m 100% sure Hogan knew exactly what was going on and would have endorsed it. He’s an American, FSG’s man. Henry has apologised to him publicly so he doesn’t have to sack him.

The mess of how it was put out suggests to me very few knew, I assume the women’s league was an afterthought because A) it sounded good or B) not one of them knew anything about it so they would have to draft more people in to the plan.
I don’t think Peter Moore was in the dark about plans for such a league either that or he went because Henry knew how opposed to it he would be.
I knew as soon as Billy Hogan came back in that something would happen mind, wonder if they went to Klopp and said “hey do you want more money” and took that as a guarantee they would want the league.
