It’s a bit of faux outrage really, everyone is happy to turn a blind eye to Nike basically using slave labour, or Standard Chartered having very dodgy connections to money laundering for the Taliban etc… As long as it brings in cash…
As far as I’m aware whilst a very risky market (so cash up front please) I don’t see any problem with it.

Crypto and blockchains are hugely detrimental to the environment , but your point still stands as we wouldn’t be worried about that if it was giant car manufacturer etc
