Almost 50yrs ago… This was my dads favourite game of all-time…
He said Heighway beat 6 men in the dribble… Toshack leapt 6’0" off the ground to get the header… and Lawler burst the net with his shot… Yeah ok Dad :0))
Guess that’s the way it was in them days eh…

Thanks for that. One of my best Anfield memories as well. I was in the Kop that day…came back from 2-0 down. The Kop was on fire that day. Incessant chants of attack, attack, attack. We sucked those goals in.

This was the most magical though…never forget it. A couple of mates sometimes play golf with David Fairclough…
