He won’t start the league with Frimpong. The pre season will reveal a lot more.
But I suspect he won’t change too much initially atleast.
We’ll see, it’s all too far now. But at this moment, I also think Bradley might have an advantage over Frimpong at RB.

Also depends on whether we get a proper CF.
Bradley was a bit unconvincing at the end of the season (in fairness, so were most of the players). He looks like he still needs a season or so to get the consistency needed at this level.
Surely one of Robbo or Tsimikas will leave.
It also explains the Guehi interest.

We won’t register Ramsay. He’s out on a long term injury anyway.
Plus as mentioned , one of Tsimikas or Robbo look set to move.
As do Nunez and Chiesa.
I do think more homegrown players are on the way out.
Morton , Beck , Elliot.
Bajcetic , McConnell and Danns should be classed as homegrown the next season.
We’ll probably have to do with 6 homegrown players. Might mean a smaller squad of 23 instead of 25 , but it’s a temporary issue for one season.

We could sell Endo (I feel physically sick saying that!) and push Bajcetic to fill the cover/back up for Grav which would bring us down to 17 Non HG.
Sell one of Robbo or Tsimikas to free up a spot for Kerkez. Sell Ramsey as with Frimpong and Bradley, not sure he has much of a pathway to forstteam football, so his options seem to be either loan or sale.
Marc Guehi is HG, so no issues with him getting registered (if we do indeed go for him). If not, whoever we bring in to replace Quansah should be HG, so will have to be someone has come through a UK academy.
If we are looking to bring in a striker, then one of Jota or Darwin will have to be sold unless there is a HG striker kicking about, but none that I can think of that are of any qualitity that would be any good for us
While we would love to loan or sell Ramsay, he’s just had a very long term injury. Just not registering him is enough to comply with the requirements as of now.
The point however is that Morton / Beck and Elliot seem set to leave in which case there need to be 3 exits from the non homegrown list.

Any other striker being brought in would either require another player from the non homegrown list being sold or someone in the Morton/Beck/Elliot group needing to be retained.
That or we buy a homegrown striker. There really aren’t many there who are good enough for us. Maybe Watkins but his age , wages etc might not be feasible.
What is this long term injury? As the last injury of him that I can find is illness back in December 2023 which saw him miss 4 games and before that he had knee surgery in Feb 2023
He has a serious injury at Wigan and his loan was cut short.
I’m not sure he’s recovered enough to be loaned out.
Best case is we monitor his fitness this season and give him game time with the academy guys. it will be best for his career if he’s being taken care by our medical team rather than going to League 1/2 and getting injured again.
All that says is that they cut his loan short after not playing in 9 games. No mention of injury, just not getting selected so sounds more like ability/attitude issue rather than an injury
Trying to find an article where the Wigan coach said that Ramsay felt something wrong with his body and hence they sent him back to Liverpool.
