PC gaming thread

Couldn’t wait and decided to treat myself for Easter. Played one hour so far and the game looks beautiful.

Pop up now says free weekend, which i’m pretty sure it dodnt before.

Yeah. I clearly read that they mentioned as a giveaway.

How have you found it? I loved the playthrough. Zero end game though!

Haven’t made much progress yet, only about 5 or 10 hours in. Time to play has been limited in recent weeks, and when I did sit down one weekend to have a go I had problems getting it to work properly. That seems to have sorted itself out (maybe it was patch related?) so I may play a few hours this weekend if I can.

Borderlands 3 is free for the week (until 26-May-2022 11:00 AM EDT) on Epic Games. Sigh, another FPS.

Edit: Found a 3rd person mod to the game. Nice!

Not too keen on FPS even if they’re RPG’s , but after WOW burned me big time. I’m figuring it’s back to single player games for me.

Complete BioShock collection is freely available on Epic Games store. No excuses now, folks!

Too bad that there are no 3rd person mode mods for Bioshock. I am already getting motion sickness just by watching game play footage on Youtube. :face_vomiting:

Might be a mod? I recently heard there was a 3rd person mod for one of the borderlands games for example…?

I just watched a Youtube clip. The so-called 3rd person is just a floating pair of hands further away from the player’s POV.

nexusmods might have the 3rd person mods

Why would you want to mod perfection?!

First Person View isnt for everyone i guess.

I had a bitch of a time with morrowind and their first person view. Did get used to it but i am not a huge fan

Just found out Owlcat games, the company behing the pathfinder video games are now making a Warhammer 40k RPG called Rogue Trader. That could be a good partnership.

I also saw on Steam today an announcement for BoltGun i think it was called. Looks like a fun take on the 90’s doom/duke nukem/ wolfenstein games.
