PC gaming thread

This looks really, really good actually (seen some play reviews/let’s play and will buy it).

A super good setting (honestly, it’s hard to find a better one)

The only thing I am not sold on is the voice acting. But other than that, this looks so, so good !

ooh I’ve been wanting to pick up Detroit Human for years! excellent. That’s one I almost always pull the trigger on in steam sales but never do.

I think Slime Rancher 1 I played with my daughter and we had a good time but the second one isnt couch co-op, unless that has since been added.

Other games not mentioned yet that I saw on the Games Awards show and I’m looking forward to include Star Wars Fate of the Old Republic, a spiritual successor to the KotoR series, No Law which appears to be a cyberpunk style game, Gang of Dragon (naturally!), Solasta 2, Coven of the chicken Foot and Bradley the Badger

With regards to the Divinity reveal, I see a lot of talk about it not being Original Sin 3. What is the difference between the various Divinity titles?

Explained in detail here:

The reddit mod has deleted the “leaked” Epic game list, and was said to be generated by AI. Sorry for getting your (and my) hopes up.

I think when there have been previous leaks Epic may have changed some of the games being given away.

It came out on PS Plus years go (Detroit Human)

Played it out. It was good not great

I’m a fan of their crpg (played all DOS1,2 and BG3 a few times) so that’s a bummer. Don’t know if they will bring something different than Skyrim or Dragon Age, and there are already too many action rpgs around.

But looking forward to it anyway. I bought Divinity 2 a while ago so might as well try it this holiday.

Been heavy into RPG, done a few in the last year when I have had time (and most recently with a broken foot, I was laid up for a few weeks).

Feel the need to break from it for a bit, almost done Ghost of Tsushima main story. Fun and consuming story just want to see the ending now. When you’re pretty much Tech’d out it gets repetitive.

This is my problem with these games, I find the worlds so decently well done now it’s interesting just to explore. I imagine this is why the first MMORPGS were so popular when they first hit the gaming scene around the time of World of Warcraft. 2002?

Ghost of Tsushima is just as repetitive as those Ubisoft games. By the end you can safely ignore the story because it doesn’t make much sense, but the main missions and the final battle are still very well done, and the sword fighting mechanism feel satisfying throughout.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this one.

2030 release date. So not going to happen. Developmental Hell beckons.

Oh, you can’t possibly imagine how great it is. Even though it’s wonderfully replayable, I envy those who try it for the first time.

Of course the studio that made the game had to disband under acrimonious circumstances.
